Management and Board of Director Changes

Today we announced that the board of Directors, at their meeting on April 28, 2000, nominated the following for election to the Board at the annual general shareholders meeting to be held on June 27, 2000.

We  have streamlined the Board members from 20 to 14, increasing the number of divisional chief operating officers to 8 from 4. This underlines our policy of separating check and balance functions from operational responsibilities, and of enhancing the speed of operational decision making.
