Densei-Lambda became a fully owned subsidiary of TDK in March 2008. In October of the year we will change our name to “TDK-Lambda Corporation,” since our operations will merge with the power-supply business of TDK. The result will be a strong company ranked among the world’s leading manufacturers dedicated to the production of power supplies.

Densei-Lambda is a “group of power-supply professionals.” We conduct our business globally by having core functions in each of five key regions (Japan, Americas, Europe, China and Asia). Each autonomous region has the independent functions needed to conduct all manufacturing and business activities, from development and production to sales and customer support. Our professional teams, consisting of experts in various types of power supplies, will work together to provide power-supply solutions that satisfy customers throughout the world.

We will also reinforce our collaboration with TDK, a world-leading manufacturer of electronics components, to jointly develop materials that are better suited for power supplies and drive the active development of power-supply products offering higher efficiency. Concurrently, we will provide TDK with our core technologies in the area of UPS (uninterruptible power systems) to motivate the collaborative effort to tap new business fields.

We will transform ourselves from Densei-Lambda, the number-one Japanese manufacturer of standard power supplies, into Densei-Lambda, the “total power solution provider” and world’s number-one manufacturer dedicated to power supplies.
